Certifications & compliance by market
Import rules change and differ by model and port. The summary below is general guidance as of 2026 — NEW MADA MOTOR confirms the exact documents for your destination when you request a quote. We do not publish certificate numbers we have not been issued.
Brazil
INMETRO certification (Ordinance 301/2019 for two/three-wheelers) plus the LCVM import licence. The Brazilian importer normally leads INMETRO; we supply the technical files and test reports the process needs.
Argentina
No INMETRO recognition — certification runs through local bodies (e.g. ONC). Confirm the exact marking before shipping.
Eastern Europe (incl. Russia)
ECE/UN regulation type approval (WVTA / COC) for road vehicles and E-mark for components. Russia applies its own TR CU / EAC marking.
Nigeria
SONCAP pre-shipment certification via an accredited PC + SCoC.
Kenya
PVoC / COC pre-export verification.
South Africa
NRCS letter of authority (SABS-marked where applicable); ICASA for any radio modules that are fitted.
Egypt
GOEIC pre-export registration and inspection.
Other markets
We confirm the applicable standard for your destination port when you request a quote and supply the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading that clearance needs.
What we provide with each shipment
- Commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading.
- Certificate of origin where the market requires it.
- Test reports and technical files to support the importer's local approval.
- Written confirmation of the applicable marking for your destination port.
Ask for the requirements of your market on the quote form and we will confirm in writing before an order is placed.
